Please completely ignore any NAIC Illustrations you may be shown. The term "non-guaranteed" means complete fiction in this industry. The dividends paid to policyholders are completely uncoupled from the company's financial health. Any dividends they pay are at their total discretion and have no correlation to the company's profits. They no longer put policyholders first. They were known as "The Quiet Company".
