6-29-26 will be 1yr anniversary for my Bilateral Lung Transplant. I can’t say enough good things. I feel blessed to be alive. Every person went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of both Medically and Mentally. The Thoracic surgical team and Pulmonary team are fantastic. As well as all the nurses and staff taking care of the patients. This the place to go for all of your health needs.
I had a double transplant there six years ago, and they STILL give me the BEST care. Dr. Bing Ho is my absolute favorite doctor. He doesn't mince words but he takes my health super seriously and always makes me feel like I am the most important when I am there.
One of the biggest mistakes I made was having my transplant surgery done here at NW. I’ve been a patient for over 25 years and have always bragged about the quality of care provided by NW. Well I’ve since changed my mind about their professionalism and overall compassion for their patients. I’ve experienced so many complications with this kidney and feel that the transplant Dr I have is not compassionate and lack the skills of empathy. Not sure what happened over the years but the lack of transparency on pricing and awful scheduling availability has made it an awful idea to ever come back. Second star reserved solely for Dr Bing Ho, I wish the hospital itself didn’t drag the rating down so low because he is truly a gem.
In November/2023 I contacted the NW Transplant clinic to register for consideration. Having been in dialysis for more than a year I was optimistic & hopeful since my late sister worked in admitting in the hospital. I was given a date for February-2024 to come in. After two months I called to reaffirm & was told that I was called twice with no answer. I have 24/7 answering on both my landline& iPhone.
