Huntley Hospital ER was that worst staffs not friendly at all. ER rooms are very small not best. My family doesn't like the hospital at all. ER waits was very long I never go back again. It's to far from eastside of the Algonquin IL. Sherman or Saint Joseph Hospital is closer to my place not Huntley Hospital.

I had a very disappointing experience observing staff members on the night shift postpartum unit openly mistreating another employee and judging mothers on their decision to formula feed instead of breast feed. It was uncomfortable to witness and it created a tense and unwelcoming environment. I hope management addresses this kind of behavior and ensures a more respectful and supportive workplace for everyone.

They were very pushy on pitocin. My nurses during labor were outstanding. Postpartum nurses thoroughly disappointed one gave me a bigger flange when I asked for smaller didnt know what hand expression was , then the nurse who I saw before discharge ignored me when I said I thought I had a uti and looked at my nether regions and said “you look like you didnt even have a baby” no urine sample nothing was sent home crying in pain till i went to urgent care 2 days later. I had my baby the past 09/29/2024. I will give them 5+ starts! Awesome staffs and doctors! My delivery was smooth and not stressful at all! Love this hospital for labor and delivery

There is definitely a lack of compassion and empathy for mothers, especially first time moms who obviously have never done this before. I went in for an elective induction at 39 weeks and although I was made familiar with the general process of induction by my doctor, being there was definitely more frightening and I needed help understanding the steps I was going through.
