It's a pain to get in and see specialists due to their high demand and I had a good referral. Despite that I still had to wait a year but it was worth it. I've gotten nothing but the highest quality care for my type 1 diabetes and they really are nothing but the best.

I am a patient of the endo department. They have made repeated mistakes on my prescription that have prevented me from filling my prescription. They take days to respond to messages and sometimes never respond.

I hate Northwestern so much. They make it so hard to see doctors. Literally spent years trying to get an appointment with some of their specialists. It’s impossible. Then even if you get an appointment, they make you wait months and then cancel it if they decide a test result and diagnosis don’t meet their standard. 4 month wait time for an appt. I’ve given up on conventional medicine entirely with the exception of genuine emergencies. My Functional Doctor wants me to establish care with a conventional endocrinologist for repeated monitoring of an issue I’m having. How is this possible with such wait times? NWM can tout how great they are on all the billboards of Chicago. Who actually thinks so? Western medicine is a dumpster fire.
