We have 3 children and the latter 2 were born here. The staff is amazingly compassionate, with the willingness to listen to your input and make you feel comfortable. All the nurses are amazingly nice and friendly, we left feeling like we had made new friends. Cara at the front desk made the experience a 100/10. She welcomed us in, and helped me and my 2 daughters prepare the flowers we got for mom, even offering to take a photo of us before we went back. My husband and I welcomed our baby just over a week ago, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience at Delnor. Every member of the staff was incredible from start to finish. Our labor and delivery nurses were absolutely amazing. They made sure I was as comfortable as possible throughout labor and took the time to explain everything they were doing to help move things along, which made me feel informed and at ease. My husband and I just had our son and every single person on this staff was incredible and did everything they could to make sure we were comfortable, informed, and well cared for. It was far from an easy delivery and having the support of such amazing doctors and nurses really meant a lot. Special thanks to the nursing staff who sent us a congratulatory card for our baby's birth. Thank you.
Our son was born here and we had a better experience than we could have hoped for. Every nurse was kind and knowledgeable, teaching us how to swaddle, what the baby may have needed, and tips to keep him safe. Even at 2:00am, the resident nurses were patient and willing to teach. During delivery, we had a team of providers that respected our wishes and kept my wife optimistic through the process. I had the worst experience ever at this hospital during labor and delivery. The nurses were extremely rude, lacked cultural understanding, and were consistently passive-aggressive. Instead of providing care and support, they were dismissive. Discharge was a long and frustrating process. On top of that, there is a serious lack of diversity in their staff, which likely contributes to the poor cultural awareness and treatment of patients.
