After over 20 years of nightmare visits at Kishwaukee, I cannot say enough about how absolutely fabulous Delnor Breast Health is! Upon entering their bright building, every person I saw was smiling and friendly. Patients AND staff! My appointment was for 10:30 with suggested arrival 15 minutes early. I went in for my first mammogram and I was almost brought to tears by how caring the staff is. First, I must mention Lupe at reception area. She was so kind, caring and compassionate. She sensed my anxiety and easily calmed my fears. I'm very grateful to have met her. Then, I was greeting by Angela the mammographer. The center was updated and calming. Everyone I worked with was caring and patient. I knew the exam would cause some pain and discomfort and I was asked throughout the exam if I was in pain or needed a break. I also appreciate the tech taking multiple pictures so I would not need to come back or retake them once the doctor reviewed them. The entire process was quick and efficient. The doctor did seem rushed once everything was completed but in all not a bad experience.
I not only had a very comfortable mammogram and ultrasound today, I also had a very educational one too!!! Brenda was so knowledgeable and informative. She answered all my questions and did such a wonderful job at communicating with me the whole time which gave me peace of mind.
