Unprofessional and the opposite of what medical care for women should be. I had a very severe problem and instead of investigating the issue further, I was told that I needed to “go to therapy” like it was all in my head. I only saw the gynecologist once and then I was passed along to an APN who was insensitive and not particularly knowledgable. It’s unfortunate that I’m only giving 1 star because I had high hopes that Dr. Yang would end up being my doctor and that I’d have a great experience, but that ended up being quite the opposite. I had booked my appointment over a month ago and waited patiently with my severe pain and discomfort, because I thought it was worth the wait after reading some good reviews, but I just ended up paying $500 for someone else to run the majority of my appointment. I’ve had a horrendous patient experience given recent staffing changes and/or apparent restructuring in the office, and can no longer wholeheartedly recommend it here. I suspect your experience will depend on your provider and whether or not you need to interact much with other staff in the office. The concept of the Center for Complex Gynecology is amazing—a one-stop shop for complex gynecological care, with a trauma-informed team from the front desk to the admin to the clinical staff, and pelvic PT available in the same sp... read more
