Terrible place!!!!
Terrible nursing home. They don’t care for residents, staff doesn’t do anything at all. Michelle administration is a lost cause as well as the DIRECTOR OF NURSING Laquita she’s unprofessional, disrespectful and brings her personal problems to work and takes it out on her staff.
This place is severely understaffed. 1 nurse to 40 patients- unacceptable. My husband was there thru the VA for a vacation respite for me. His Parkinson’s medicine was given 5 hrs late 4 days in a row & food was cold. The nurse told me “sorry, I’m the only one person”. He was stuck in bed as noone answered the buzzer & when the nurse did come she said she wasn’t strong enough to help him out of bed by herself. His roommate said he fell & layed on the floor for over 2 hrs. We moved him out of there for his own safety.
If I could give this a place a zero rating I would! The nurses and aides do not respond to the call light, and most of the time they spend their time talking up in the front. Only the social worker and PT/OT actually performs their job duties. I would not recommend this place for nobody! Throughout the building there is a strong smell of urine, the rooms are not swept daily, and overall lack of care for the patients.
