I don't have regrets per se, but NWC was not worth 4 years and thousands of dollars in student loan debt. The campus is closed minded and confirmist, and is basically associated with the Republican party instead of Christian morality. I walked out of NWC as an agnostic and this was because I actually wrestled with and contemplated what was being taught; however, it was the people that pushed me away from the church for good. My college experience was the best time of my life. I learned about myself, my God, my passions and met some of my best friends. Northwestern is like a family - once you've been part of it, you'll always hold it in a special place in your heart. I'm extremely grateful for my time at NWC, the education I received and the memories I made. I have also enjoyed seeing my younger siblings enjoy their time at NWC. Thank you for the positive impact you've made on my life and in my family!

Orange City is blessed to have Northwestern College in our community! This amazing liberal arts college is a huge asset not only to the students but to every citizen of Orange City!

This school maintains archaic attitudes towards God's gay, lesbian, bi and transgendered children. They maintain a spirit of oppression, silencing people and discrimination. I thought that since I graduated in '94 NWC and the RCA might have evolved at least by a couple years, but there's no such luck. I hope to come to OC Pride some year and lead a protest on campus for all the harm you've done to people over the years and still do.

My four years at Northwestern were some of the most transformational years in figuring out my faith, through living in community I made so many friendships that have lasted through the years, and my classes (with professors who honestly cared about me and knew me) have prepared me well for the real world. I highly recommend Northwestern!
