UPDATE: Still never got our mother daughter massages... $130, a sad little girl and lost memory. Thanks for nothing. Yeah I'm still bitter about this. This wAs supposed to be a big surprise. Shame on you. I am ferious . I bought two prepaid massages for my daughters birthday, we get there today on our scheduled timeand the business has been vacated with an eviction note and phone disconnected. I have 120$ in gift cards and my daughters present is ruined. Where can i find these people and get my money back??
Not even a one star! This place used to be good until all the owner's therapists walked out last spring. I was given a gift certificate and had no problems using it until the all the therapists quit. After that time, any appointment I made with the owner, Amanda, either got cancelled last minute or she was a no show. I was given nothing but lame excuse after lame excuse. Not sure what happened to this business but it has went downhill! I have (2) 60 min massages that I have tried redeeming 3 times. 1st time we got a call 15 min before cancelling the other 2 no one bothered calling to cancel and we showed up with no one there and the doors locked. I am now out 2 prepaid massages $120.00 and the time to drive there and take off work 3 times. This is a huge disappointment as this use to be a great place. The rumors seem to be true....
Wellness Bodyworks reputation proceeds them, and not in a good way. Therapists don’t seem to show up, no one returns phone calls, owner seems to model behavior for employees. What a shame. Buyer Beware. Kiss your money and your hopes for a relaxing experience good-bye. There are plenty of great therapists elsewhere, where they give a great massage and don’t put you through the ringer first.
Was a great company to work for, but come last December everything went down hill. Began getting bounced checks, final shut off notices from the pud, owner wasn't paying linen service, client's were not receiving gift cards they purchased online, and many other things. All Therapist that left last year, and this year are owed thousands. I'm not one to post negative about someone's business, but please DO NOT go to Wellness Bodywork.
