I was in intense pain from a groin/leg nerve injury and spent over a year in bed because of the incompetent doctors I saw in Medford that wouldn't do anything to help me. I drove 3 hours to Springfield to see what Doctor Bascom could do based on a recommendation from talented Springfield Urologist Roger Mckimmie. I thought I would be driving to Springfield multiple times to maybe eventually get some sort of surgery and then have to do rehab. Dr. Bascom and his son made me feel very comfortable will everything, they are hero's. I would recommend this man hands down to anybody I care about; his professional approach and work ethic along with his genuine kindness leaves no question to whom I would want being my surgeon. He also works in hand with his son, who is a respectful young gentleman. 5 stars to both of the Bascoms.

I had the greatest blessing when I got Dr. Bascom to do some serious leg grafts to both my legs. This was many years ago. He helped save my legs. He was understanding and had a beside manner that helped me to better cope with what was going on. Honest, caring and a amazing doctor. I got the best when I got him. Thanks Dr. Bascom!!!

Absolutely, without a doubt, the best surgeon out there. Last year I had diverticulitis where one of the pouches burst and sent bacteria into my abdomen. Riverbend in Springfield was full so I was taken to Good Samaritan in Corvalis where I spent 30 days and underwent 5 surgeries including having a colostomy. It was nothing short of a miricle that I made it out of that hospital alive, but I did.
