Dropped off my Ryobi generator that wouldn’t start. They charged me $95, which I thought included a tune up. 2 weeks go by and I get a call that the carburetor needed to be replaced and it was going to be a total cost of $365 (parts and labor). I said no thanks. I took the generator home, spent literally 20 min and cleaned out the carburetor myself and it started right up. They literally did nothing for $95. CUSTOMER BEWARE, THEY KEEP YOUR DEPOSIT AND DO NOTHING Dropped off my Honda lawnmower on Monday (10/17/2024) and paid the $55 deposit. They were going to call me with an estimate of the repair costs after looking at the mower. I waited a week for a phone call and nothing happened. On the following Monday (10/24/2024) I called and asked the status of my mower and they indicated NOTHING had been done. He stated they might get to it tomorrow, but was not certain. This is the best, fastest, and friendliest small engine repair shop in the greater Portland metro area. I had 2 push mowers in for repairs in the spring, the busiest season, and both were done within a week of dropping them off. Repairs were well done with quality parts.
