A very unprofessional company with unskilled workers. They pulled out walls that were not needed to be taken out and tore out the ceilings in a way that we had to take out the full ceiling and floors. My toilet was got cracked while they were taking out floors and did not inform us. They did not do much except dry out the floors from water. So much unnecessary damage was done by Northwest Mitigation company that it was quite expensive to put everything back together with our personal funds. Northwest Restoration performs substandard work, the subcontractors that they hired were unskilled, unqualified and a few were not even properly licensed. They billed my insurance company for things that they didn't do and inflated prices on the bill. When my kitchen was almost complete, I found out that they should have pulled a building permit, first they denied it then Jim C*****, the owner, tried to convince me not to make them get one, I insisted and they had to cut a new hole in the floor for the inspection. While we understand and have taken partial responsibility for the initial concerns ******** had working with the subcontractors used by Northwest Restoration, those issues have been fully addressed and resolved. Per our mutual agreement to work through mediation with the Oregon State Construction Contractors Board and her signature on the settlement agreement this issue is closed.
