I had a flat file that needed to be sandblasted and then re-powder coated. It was previously spray painted a horrendous purple color, which was flaking off onto the artwork that I wanted to store in the flat file. After taking it to Northwest Powder Coating, they had it whipped up good as new, with a super sleek lookin gun metal grey finish. Got a bumper powder coated. Now rusting less than a year later in spots that I didn't notice weren't covered at the time. Very unhappy with their service and quality of work.
There website states that "we typically use a chemical bath process to remove...impurities.". So I drove down there to have a small tank stripped for coating. I walk in and ask the guy "do you do chemical dipping to strip parts". He replied " no , we don't do that here". What the hell! Thanks for wasting my day.
