The staff was friendly and helpful until you get to billing issues. They billed me for the full cost of my procedure after insurance denied coverage. (procedure can be covered with proper documentation as to why it was necessary) They failed to get my signature for the appeal. Insurance requested they correct the problem and resubmit, they took NO action and did not inform me. Took my wife to the valley office because she can't see well enough to drive herself. I waited in the reception room while she did her physical therapy. I talked to one of the receptionist while I was waiting thinking I was being nice. I even stopped by to give her something I thought she needed for her home. The next thing I know is my wife gets a registered letter in the mail saying that a family member was acting inappropriately to the staff and all services are discontinued. The staff was friendly and helpful until you get to billing issues. They failed to get a preauthorization for my procedure. Signs everywhere indicate "payment for patient responsibility due upon service", I was told that I owed nothing. This didn't surprise me as I had hit my out of pocket max. Later they billed me for the full cost of my procedure after insurance denied coverage. I later learned they did NOT do put in for preauthorization. Very rude. They seem to question you, doubt you. Why should you doubt patients, you’re getting paid to help us figure out ways to fix whatever pain we’re having. If you don’t want to listen to patients or have the patience to deal with them then why be a doctor?
They have wonderful surgeons.
