I was late to my appointment. Which is fine that’s on me but what wasn’t on me was the nurse with blue scrubs and blonde hair verbally assaulting me very loudly behind the desk. Not only me but also the poor receptionist was pulled into it because I was late. The nurse whispered yelling that “she’s over the 9 minutes. She has to reschedule.” The receptionist was very sweet and apologetic that I had to reschedule while the nurse was just glaring at me. I have been a patient of this practice for over six years and have always received excellent care from my physician. I have never had an issue with billing in the past, which is why this experience was so disappointing. Shortly after undergoing a procedure earlier this year, I moved to a new address. I was a new patient but mentioned I would be asking about HRT when I booked my appointment. I was with the doctor for ten minutes and got prescriptions for HRT. No exam performed. She had been running late and said we would do a pelvic exam at my follow up and I agreed. I arrived for my follow up and was told I owed $215 for the previous appointment. Not only are they impossible to book with (months out unless they have a cancel), for a new patient to come in and then get turned away after being 7 minutes late due to traffic and driving 35 to get there is ridiculous. Told me to be there 15 minutes early and ran a bit late due to traffic, but then I got there and tried to say no it was 20 minutes and no one said that. I’ve loved my experience here. We struggled getting pregnant and Dr.Conway was able to walk us through our options to get pregnant. We are now 32 weeks along with our baby girl and the staff is amazing. The nurse (Brenda) is also a life saver for all my pregnancy questions and concerns. I never feel embarrassed or weird about asking questions. I highly recommend!
