They told me to stay in abuse, if I can't find housing. I asked if they knew of places that would look past an eviction and they copy and pasted the same message to me 3x. I explained my trauma, my limit at the shelter and they could have said, "no." Instead they repeated how it's my responsibility (by copy and pasting). This place has been an absolute nightmare of bad advice and weeks of waiting for a reply after being homeless for a year and making the mistake of listening to nmcaa and being denied 3 times over this year for a mortgage. And these are the people that help with low income rentals not me I was never even put on a waiting list. I have cancer, epilepsy and now a hernia where they cut my kidney out from cancer. Because I had to go back to work disability and nmcaa = homeless I lost my retirement and had to sell almost everything... read more
