I came to the ER around 1 a.m. because I genuinely felt like something was seriously wrong. I was not there to fake anything. I honestly felt like I might die in that hallway. I was drinking a full quart of electrolytes every hour just to keep my heart rate stable, which is not normal. Earlier that night I had fallen asleep for three hours and woke up so dehydrated I had to crawl to the bathroom. It felt like I was experiencing a heart attack. Husband has had severe diarhea for a few days after traveling to central America, one night he woke up in the middle of the night with high fever and chills, and was not thinking straight. He went here at midnight because they were the only place open, they made him wait 2.5 hours and the only thing they did was a covid test and said they didn't anything was wrong. My family will not be coming here in an emergency when we actually need care. It seems they only actually check you if you're older.

My experience overall was very good. I fractured my hand and was disappointed to know that casting services were not available and I would have to go on and see a specialist for that. Of note I was placed in the hallway rather than in a room, that was fine. I was stationed right outside the triage room, and because that door was open I heard everything that was said in that room from every single person that was triaged and I’m not sure that that is HIPAA compliant.
