This had been one of the most helpful hardware store. I was searching a tool and tried all the big box stores but found here only and was only possible by their tremendously helpful staff.

Poor customer service. Home Hardware does NOT refund seasonal product, but, it does not state this on the receipt they give you. At the time of purchase, the cashiers say you have 90 days to return the product, but not once mention anything about seasonal products being an exception. Each location is independently owned, therefore creating problems for when you wish to do a refund because not every store will stock that product, and refund dates can be vary anywhere between 30 to 90 days depending on store. Rude manager. I visited the store on Apr 16th morning. He won’t return my purchased items for a refund. Nowhere on front or back of their receipt it says that those type of items cannot be returned. When questioned, he showed me a little sign they put on the wall appx 20 ft above in store that says seasonal items not refundable. Never had this issue with any other store i.e Homedepot or Rona. Not going to home hardware again and will also share my bad experience with other people.
