Extremely disappointing. Was a patient and our insurance changed and would not cover this provider. We private payed and then did not see him for 2 years, 2 months. Got new insurance and called for months with no return call or response to emails. With worsening symptoms and desperation, tried to call again, and told we’re no longer considered a patient after 2 years and he’s not taking new patients. Dr Armitano is amazing!! He listens to your concerns and accurately assesses your problems. I have been to 2 other neurology clinics and neither one of them had a clue as to why I was having such awful headaches. I put complete trust in Dr. Armitano. His support staff are wonderful too!! Well worth the 2+ month wait to see him.
As a physician, I shared a patient of mine with Dr. Armitano. I tried to reach him to discuss the safety of a medication he is prescribing and was told by his staff that he does not return doctor calls. I called him 7 times over 1 1/2 weeks and was told the same thing. Someone in his office told me that I should just drive to clinic and sit in the waiting room until he comes out and that hopefully I can grab him then. Dr. Amritano is fantastic. However, his receptionist is incompetent. He needs to fire her. She is literally so bad at her job and incredibly rude. Every bad review here talking about her is spot on and valid. It is absolutely insane that she hasn’t been fired because of how bad she is at her job.
Lovely compassionate specialist he listened to what was going on, well worth the wait. I understand a lot of people need and want to see him and I see why. I feel very lucky that I got to see him I hope to continue to go to him before my conditions
