My wife went to Dr Ahearn for several years with erratic periods and nothing the doctor did helped...as a matter of a fact my wife's problems got WORSE with each visit. For all those women seeking for great care in their Gynecological needs, please read the following from my personal experience... I found Dr. Jane Ahearn through my insurance network. In my first visit, she spent over an hour with me. After reviewing my menopausal symptoms, she authorized an ultrasound of my uterus. It was found I had a thickening of a portion of my uterine wall. Had to walk out of an appointment with Dr. Ahearn today after I was left in the room waiting for an hour. I understand busy days, but this has been the norm every time I’ve been seen. I am switching to Dr. Andison and will update my review once I see him, I hope Dr. Ahearn learns to respect her patients time moving forward.
I cannot speak for everyone at Northwest Gynecology Associates but I can for Dr. Bruce Andison. I was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic disease in my lungs 9 years ago. While my primary care is through a HMO I saw Dr Andison for a second opinion. He is incredibly kind and caring. His input was so helpful as I faced life or death decisions that I was not equipped to make. I have recommended him to a number of friends and co-workers and all have been very pleased with the care they have received.
