The medical staff is pretty spot on for us. However, the administration side overbooks the staff which, I think, results in super long wait times. Don't get your hopes up when you get called back from the main wait area. They're just going to put you in a sub wait area. Expect to wait 30 to an hour for appointments
I arrived at my appt today for the front office assistant to say that the call center cancelled my appt the day before when I haven't even spoken to them. She asked if I wanted to see Dr. Douglas because he had an opening so I said sure to make sure that I stay on track with my appts.......NEVER AGAIN! He busted in the room practically running and talking so fast like he was in a hurry. He rushed to let me hear my daughters heartbeat. The wait time past a scheduled appointment is absurd. It's disrespectful to the patients and their time. You cannot effectively ask for time off work and be hours over what you requested because the office cannot schedule correctly.
I know they have fantastic doctors from experience. However, I have a full-time job and every time I have an appointment it takes at least 2 hours. If my appointment's at 11:15 I usually don't get called back until 12:15. It's not manageable for my schedule to go here and that's disappointing because I would love access to wonderful doctors like Dr. Leezer.
They told us that everything was looking perfect and nothing to worry about even tho my wife wasn’t feeling great so got a second opinion from another doctor and ended up at the high risk in Chattanooga TN and straight to Erlanger we went with my wife almost in HELPS because they never caught it there!!! Also got discharged from Floyd even though lab work was getting worse but they needed our room so they sent us home with higher than stroke level blood pressure and through the roof liver and kidney levels!!
