The absolute worst!! Terrible beside manner, he does not acknowledge family, nor does he explain anything, he is just so cold. He does not return calls, I called and left 8 messages for him regarding my father and no answer. My father went in for a stomach surgery and ended up in the ICU and then an acute care for 20 days to manage the infections he caught from surgery. If you’re even a little overweight do not trust this doctor. I have a hiatal hernia and came in for a hernia repair and TIF and he told me to get bariatric surgery, which isn’t related to my condition (have had hernia longer than have been “overweight”). But he didn’t take the time to look at my health history to learn that. When I was upset after he told me this (I have a history of disordered eating), he got uncomfortable and left without giving me any referrals or next steps for if I wanted to follow his medical advice. This doctor left me with horrible scars on my leg for a varicose vein procedure in which he had only done on 50 other women. It was years ago and the scars never got better. Wish I would not have trusted him.

My mom recently had gallbladder removal surgery performed by Dr. Olen. During recovery I had several concerns about my healing process and reached out to Dr. Olen’s office, usually outside of regular open hours they would leave a note or page Dr. Olen and I would get a response from him almost immediately.
