They do help and they do answer the phone, I’ve been here. If you just need shelter, providence is now open to women and children. If you need help with drugs AND domestic violence, please go to a rehab, this is NOT a rehab. They help you file a TPO, get out and away from your abuser, give you a safe and confidential place to stay, they give you food, and they give you transportation. They also help with clothes, underwear, etc. If you have kids they help with diapers, wipes, clothes, etc. As with any place, there are rules.... read more
They do not help you. If you are being harassed and are seeking a protective order, good luck. Youre better off getting yourself a lawyer and taking a different route. These people are useless and they never answer the phone.
