I don't know what I would have done without this place. They helped me get back on my feet, I don't know what I would have done without this place and the services they provide. Very grateful and everyone was very friendly.
If I could give this place zero stars i would it’s not a safe place supposed to be a DV shelter but house everyone from drug addiction,homeless people and women and children some of the staff don’t know how to talk to people correctly and they treat you any kind of way if you allow them to and lord forbid if you stand up for yourself it’s wrong they treat you like you don’t have a voice or boundaries like you supposed to allow people to lie on you and treat you any kid of way the taxi service they tried to steal money off my... read more

They let a shelter guest be verbally abusive to me & my children. Then told me I need to be “accountable” for my part when I did nothing wrong. But they think defending yourself is wrong apparently. It’s hypocrisy to tell people to be accountable when your staff doesn’t even understand their own shelter rules let alone take accountability for the guests they let curse in front of children.. They do help and they do answer the phone, I’ve been here. If you just need shelter, providence is now open to women and children. If you need help with drugs AND domestic violence, please go to a rehab, this is NOT a rehab. They help you file a TPO, get out and away from your abuser, give you a safe and confidential place to stay, they give you food, and they give you transportation. They also help with clothes, underwear, etc. If you have kids they help with diapers, wipes, clothes, etc. As with any place, there are rules.... read more
