I was disappointed with my experience at Northwest Extremities in Sherwood, Oregon. After breaking my foot, I visited their office, but the care felt minimal. The doctor didn’t perform a thorough examination or even physically assess the injury, yet I was charged over $400. When I requested a referral to seek further care that better suited my needs, the request was denied, and I was encouraged to return instead, which felt more focused on generating charges than providing effective care. I saw Dr. Dehqanzada for suspected plantar fascitis which was not resolving on its own after several months. He confirmed the diagnosis and really didn't time explaining the basics of what to look for in a proper shoe. The office also sold orthotics but I wasn't pushed to buy them there. Just available if you want. I took his advice to a local running shoe store, got the shoes that fit criteria, and after just a few weeks, my daily pain went from an 7.5/10 to a 4/10.
