This is an excellent facility managed by a team of dedicated professionals. Whenever I need to have imaging performed, whether it be MRI, CT scan, etc., I am confident that all will go well. As such, Northwell Health Reichart Family Imaging in Huntington is the only facility I will visit for my imaging needs.
This is the 3rd time I have gone there for a preventive screening. The doctors prescription clearly stated screening and they billed it as diagnostic. My insurance told them to resubmit it as screening and it would be covered at 100% and they again refuse to re-submit to my insurance and continue to bill me for it. Under the affordable care act and preventive screening task force my scan was covered fully under preventive screening.
