I am very frustrated with how the NHPP at White Plains handled my appointment today. I got caught in a traffic jam and immediately tried to call the office to let them know I would be late. My appointment was prior to 9 am so they were not answering the phones. When I arrived I was told that I would have to reschedule. I explained that I called and they said that since they didn’t speak with me they wouldn’t see me today. I spent 40 minutes time and had driving here and tried to to give the courtesy of notice. I wish I could give 0 stars… THREE different appointments with THREE different doctors to get two vaccines boosters and nothing was accomplished. Each time the office told us another doctor can help, I wasted my time leaving work just to schedule another appointment!!!! Horrible horrible experience Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND
I have mixed feelings about Northwell. I like my doctor here. She’s great! But the method of scheduling appoints and walls between you and your doctor are really frustrating. I was trying to find out whether I should get an appt to see my primary care doctor or a specialist for a specific issue. Some primary care doctors will do basic exams for more speciality issues and some do not. Everybody was extremely courteous and respectful. The field celebrities appeared clean and there was even a little cafe downstairs.
