It would be helpful if the staff didn't overbook, as my daughter's appointment was 30 minutes past the scheduled time. This caused me an inconvenience since I had to reschedule an appointment I had already made. Given that it was a good experience with Jim, I gave the extra star. Thank you. I just raised the rating since my daughter saw JIM today for an office visit, and it was a good experience. Also, Yolee (the nurse) is excellent as a person and a professional. I’m honestly not sure why Northwell Health has such low reviews, because my experience has been nothing short of wonderful from start to finish. The front desk staff are consistently kind, efficient, and knowledgeable — and if they don’t have an answer, they go out of their way to find it. Even staff who aren’t directly helping you will greet you warmly and make you feel welcome. Dr. Duffy, in particular, is absolutely outstanding — truly a five-star doctor. I took my 13-year-old to the Shirley office at 5:10 p.m. on Friday, Labor Day weekend. Their office was closing at 6:00 pm. Why did the front desk person direct us to go to the Manorville office when there was no one in the waiting area? I find it hard to believe that not a single professional (doctor, P.A., N.P.) was there to check her. And the calls were put over to service before 5:30 pm. You people only deserve one star. This is the last time I will come to this office ever again. I have to go in there one more time to get clear for surgery, but after that, I refuse to go here they’re very slow very slow. My son was getting aggravated. We were sitting there for like an hour and we had an appointment. Worst office ever.
