Arrived on time at 611 Northern Blvd. At check in was met by polite and competent clerk. Actually thanked me profusely for having filled out info on line which saved us both time. Went to first waiting area. Less than five minutes a nurse called me in, took my to changing area, went over what would happen and had me remove shirt for dressing gown. Went to second waiting area. Had to get a pelvic MRI today for the gyn surgeron who did my surgery 5.13.25 to make sure to silent complications going on. Northwell was pretty good today I was afraid I was going be waiting a long time but I was in and out. I came far to do my pelvic MRI also bc my surgeon is in Manhasset and GYN is at the 1554 Northern boulevard location. I refused the contrast bc I have only one kidney .. I was birth with mullieran anatomy right kidney only I got. Good job northwell.
I recently had an MRI at Northwell's Great Neck Imaging dept.. Most impressed with it's cleanliness, efficient staff, speed in which the procedure was done and overall quiet and calmness presented to the patients. Wouldn't hesitate to go there again.
On 12/11 i had a MRI i went and the receptionist And nurse was great the MRI tech Nicholas was so patient and kind to me because i explained that the other places i took my annual mri of the brain would push the contrast in fast and it would make me nauseous and i would have to throw up but he was kind asked me was i ok as he put The contrast in my arm I just want to say this was the first time i was good i didnt have to throw up or broke out from the contrast the nurse found my vein on the first try it was just amazing thi... read more
Nice staff. MRI tach was very nice. Almost a week late and I still do not have my MRI results. I have been for other MRIs and it does not take this long. Not happy with this at all.
