I had an MRI. After about 25 minutes inside the machine I felt as though I was suffocating and asked to be let out. I was told that the tech person would need to retake some images and that I should just hang in there. This was just before the injection of the dye. For the next 15 minutes, I suffered a lot. When I was let out I had to sit up quickly to breathe. I was told not to move and that I nearly fell off the table. However, I am a thin, athletic person and felt secure on the table. I would Have given a PERFECT STAR BUT will explain why I was nervous since the doctor told me I needed MRI with and without contradt needless to say i get very Queasy VERY quickly got up at 6am wanting to hurry and get it over with I smiled at myself in the mirror and thought ok lets do it ...arrival NO NOT one smile I place my 4 stars on a Beautiful lovely lady Named "SADIE" you are close to my heart SHE calmed me - assured me that it will be ok and to think positive thoughts ........ There was an option to give ZERO stars. I arrived there 30 minutes early at 6 PM for a 6:30 PM MRI appointment and it took them 2 and a half hours to get me done. I left at 8:30 PM. The horrible attitude woman Bibi was at the registration desk and just kept asking me non-sense questions and wasted my time. She demanded an Script and Authorization that were already in their system because my doctor was from Northwell itself and Northwell staff is the one that got MRI authorization from my insurance.
