The female staff were amazing and very helpful, but the male doctor who conducted my biopsy was incredibly rude. He continuously told me to relax and not cry. The ultrasound tech would comfort me and he would make comments on how that wasn't needed. This male doctor was rough and rude beyond measure.
I have always gone to northwell health breast imaging the only thing that I dont like is they never update days & hours it says opened on Saturdays from 8am to 4pm closed on Sunday well the are not opened anymore on Saturday been trying 2 make an appointment and can never get threw for my mother who just went through lung cancer and Removal of part,of her lung and the doctors she see for her cancer needs mammo & sonogram becase she has had Problem b4. With her breasts they need to have images of her breasts AND I cannot get ... read more
If you are seeking a place where you feel safe and respected, I would not recommend the north well breast imaging center. Specifically the 1st floor. The only positive aspect of my visit was the friendly receptionist. I came specifically for an ultrasound, not a mammogram or any other procedure. However, I encountered significant challenges and pushback just to receive the service I was referred for by my doctor.
