I wasn’t even the pregnant person in this relationship and it was uncomfortable for me. Really unprofessional. Just seemed like they wanted to keep generating medical bills. Also, the bills keep coming in a full year later.
I was nearly coerced into an unnecessary induction at 37 weeks. While the ultrasound techs and nurses at this office were excellent and supportive, my experience with Dr. Mandujano (Dr. M) was distressing. At around 30 weeks, she unexpectedly told me I would need to be induced early, despite my medical history not supporting it. When I questioned her, she was dismissive. My experience with maternal fetal medicine has been amazing. From my first appointment, I have had such an easy time with scheduling, very little wait times and the actual scans never felt rushed or lacked attention! I have never walked away feeling unsettled and if there was a concern, it was taken seriously and explained well. I have only good things to say and would recommend to friends and family. This is where you want to go for a high risk pregnancy. Dr. Wang spent a very generous amount of time with us when we were referred for severe fetal growth restriction, and his expertise helped guide us in our decision making. I was closely monitored, and their partnership with Oishei/Conventus was extremely helpful for getting a quick amnio and a meeting with the hospital’s genetic counselor.
