Northtown Animal Hospital was established in the late 1950's by Dr. Bill Wright. Today the hospital is owned by Dr. Racelle LaMar and Dr. Hal Hawkins who are supported by a talented team, including Dr. Joy Mueller. Our practice motto is "Where Old-Fashioned Caring Meets Modern-Day Medicine." In October of 2017, our hospital burned in the Sonoma County wildfires and we merged with our friends from Guardian Pet Hospital to form Northtown Guardian Pet Hospital as it is known today. I am 63 years old and have been coming to Northtown since my 2nd birthday with my first dachshund in 1963 with Dr Wright. Since 1963 I have had more dachshunds who saw Dr Bachmann, Dr. Brown, Dr. Lamar, etc etc. Since the Dr Brown and Dr Lamar regime things are changing so fast and I feel things have lost their empathy and compassion.
