The time had come to say goodbye to our 15 year old boy. Dr. Julia Lee and the attending nurses/technicians were all so kind and considerate. Dr. Lee patiently explained everything to us and we were allowed to take as much time as we needed to share our last moments with our baby. We then received a condolences card with a handwritten note from Dr. Lee. We appreciate the professionalism and sensitivity given to us at this difficult time.
DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE I had to bring my cat in to put him down in an emergency, so we called ahead to make sure they were expecting us. We usually use a different hospital, but it was the middle of the night, and this place was the closest one open. We were treated extremely rudely when we arrived, and of course the person we spoke to on the phone was not at the desk, so some woman came right up to us and abruptly asked if our cat was "a patient of theirs", while he was passing away in my arms. Had a great experience at Northstar. Dr. Vilanova was incrediable. Highly recommend her and the whole team from greeting to exit everything was great!
I had a great experience at NorthStar VETS Hospital. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive to my dog’s well-being. They genuinely cared and took the time to listen to what was going on with my pet. Their professionalism and compassion gave me peace of mind during a stressful time. I truly appreciate the care they provided!
Scheduling appt with a neurologist was easy. Front desk staff was pleasantly welcoming. Dr Chauvet came to see us quickly and was professional and at the same time caring and amazing. She performed the necessary spinal surgery and kept me updated with texts and even photos. Discharge was quick and easy with thorough instructions and call back phone numbers if necessary. Expensive yes.... but anyplace that deals with emergencies 24/7 has to have a lot of staff and use a lot of materials all of which has to be paid for.
