We recently had our first litter of Vizsla pups. Our regular Vet recommended Dr. Ahmed at Northstar in Robbinsville to help us along our way and establish a relationship if we had an emergency during the birth. I cannot thank Dr. Ahmed enough! She was extremely knowledgeable during all of our visits. Her expertise enabled us to be bred on the exact perfect dates. She was always pretty much immediately available via email. My son and I had to take our dog Nutmeg to NorthStar Vets @ Robbinsville on Sunday, July 27. It is never a good thing when one has to rush our beloved pet to an emergency hospital. All the staff from the receptionist to the nurses, especially Dr. Mara did everything they can to make Nutmeg comfortable. As soon as we walked in the doors, they came and took Nutmeg in for IV. So much to say. The front desk staff was so kind when I walked in crying. My dog was not well. They saw immediately and took us right back. The ER Dr was kind and informative. Our precious dog needed emergency surgery and they handled it. They called as promised. The original Dr we spoke to was to much on medical terms that I really did not understand her however then after I only spoke to Dr Pisano (idk if correct spelled) and she was on human terms. My dog was brought here after a seizure at a nearby vet clinic. From the moment we set foot on NorthStar, the nurses were incredibly helpful and caring towards our situation. The front desk staff, nurses, techs, and doctors kept me updated frequently and everybody was open to my many many questions regarding my dogs condition. If I could give more stars I would. Dr. Summers and the entire oncology/radiation staff are some of the best veterinarians I have ever worked with. They are compassionate, and get back to you ASAP if you have questions or concerns. They take the time to answer all your questions, and never make you feel like they have somewhere better to be. I highly recommend this facility if you ever need radiation treatment for a pet.
