DO THIS TOUR!!! this was the highlight of my Alaskan trip! the helicopter ride with Matt was so great and Anne was the best tour guide ever. we even saw a bear on the glacier!!!! so so so much fun
The 4-hour Mendenhall Glacier Helicopter & Trek was the HIGHLIGHT of my trip to Alaska. It's 100% worth the price and kept our group talking about this experience for the days following. The professionalism, warmth, and organization of every staff member, even when it gets HEINOUS was incredible. Once in a lifetime experience. We travelled by helicopter from the heliport to Mendahall glacier, after which we where geared up an toured the glacier with our guide. The trek was pretty extensive and informative. Highly recommend as the company is very well geared, and staff is professional taking care of safety and an overall fun experience.
We had a great time with Spencer flying us up and back. Very professional and efficient. We got an awesome tour and saw Herbert glacier as well as the source “bowl” of the recent glacial flood. Shawn and Evan our guides were both very serious, and great fun. I cracked up when I looked at my photos later. Shawn snuck a selfie on there after he took the group pic, so we wouldn’t forget him!?
Our experience with NorthStar Trekking and dog sledding on Norris Glacier was absolutely incredible. From start to finish, everything was well organized, professional, and unforgettable. The helicopter flight to the glacier alone was breathtaking, with stunning views of Alaska’s mountains, icefields, and glaciers.
