Northstar Solar has a fantastic team, from the sales staff to the installation crew and office management; they all work seamlessly together. I hired them to install ten solar panels along with a Tesla Powerwall. The installation took place on October 14, 2024. After that, of course, PG&E had to give their approval. Since the solar system went live after October 14, 2024, I haven't experienced any issues, but it does seem that the power isn't quite sufficient. Extremely pleased with my experience with Northstar Solar…. the most efficient company I have worked with.. They are very thorough, adhere to their timerable, very quick to respond to questions or concerns. I could not recommend them any more highly, I would give them a definite five star rating. If you’re in the market for solar, do yourself a favor call them.
I recently had NorthStar Solar remove 28 solar panels for a roofing job, and then reinstall them once the roof was completed. They were professional and competent from start to finish. Too many companies over-commit and under-deliver. That was never the case with anyone from NorthStar Solar. I'm so impressed with NorthStar. They came recommended by, a friend and I pass on the recommendation. They were clear about timings and pricing throughout, were patient in explaining every part of the process and how we could make a good decisions about our system, and were unfailingly polite, kind, and thorough with their support. Their installation team was always on time, considerate, and careful. Dan (I think the owner, and our project manager) did a splendid job communicating and helping us.
