If only a negative review was possible. As you can see my bill was printed on 7/27/25 and I received it on 8/2/25. The due date shows 8/23/25. On 8/4/25 past 7pm in the evening I received a VM with no identification stating PLEASE make a payment. I thought this was a scam and looked the number up and it was NorthStar calling for me to make a payment on the first bill I’ve received (on 8/2) and it’s not even past due! I received a text and email from this company on July 29, 2025 stating I have an anesthesia bill due from when I gave birth at the hospital in April of 2025. Today I called my insurance company to verify that this was a legitimate claim/bill. My insurance company called NorthStar on my behalf with me on the line. The male representative, Guarav, was very rude and stated that NorthStar sent me 3 bills and listed 3 random dates via mail and now will be sent to collections. Cost was astronomical. Hidden cost and had to pay for PA and Physician. Cost was not explained prior.
the anesthesiologist for my surgery in mar 2024 didnt understand allergy listed in my charts, as allergy was to an inactive ingredient in most oral meds, the o.r. prep nurse tried to force 2 oral meds on my prior to surgery without me clearing the NDC formulation, my surgeon had to step in and shut her down - i could have gone into anaphylaxis during surgery. my surgeon was well aware of my situation and this was second surgery with him 2,000 miles from home in part because he understood this also the anesthesiologist didnt ... read more
