Today I had to drop off my car under insurance. There was no one at the shop. A lady was there waiting to pick up her car since 8am. After a few hours a person advised me to call the receptionist at 12pm. Very disappointed with the lack of communication and for being kept in the dark. Wasted my whole day. Thanks.
Unfortunately, today's events reflected poorly on the business due to the lack of communication with customers who had scheduled appointments for vehicle drop-offs and collections. Several customers arrived as arranged, only to find that no staff were available. One customer had been waiting since 8:00am for over three hours to collect her vehicle before being informed by a person, who advised they were not an employee, that no one would be available until the afternoon. I have taken my car in twice in only a couple of months . The first time they did an incredible job , giving me a hire car with no issue , making all of this a breeze . All I had to do was leave my car with them and felt safe knowing they would take care of it confidently . I live about half an hour out and there’s plenty of places closer to me I could’ve taken my car. However from the first time and the job they did I didn’t hesitate to go back to them . I gave my car to this repairer through my insurance company for a not-at-fault claim on 9 February. I was told the repair would take no more than three weeks. After waiting for a month, I called them on 11 March, but the car was still not ready. They then confirmed it would be ready by early this week (the 16th). When I called again to confirm, I was told it would be finished on Thursday. I called again on Thursday, and they said Friday.
