Northside Medical Associates will not see you if you don't have your deductible from insurance upfront. Although they know you have a serious medical concern and need MRI and keep calling you about other conditions that you need test ran on. I went there early December 2015 where my deductible had been met for the year. I took my wife here a few months ago. Dr. Fordson and his nurse were very nice. In fact we thought we had found a good place to go for health concerns. That being said, my wife's chest x ray didn't look right to the Dr. and he said it would take a couple of days to get the results after a radiologist reviewed it. I told the doctor that I could take it to Birmingham and have a friend (radiologist) to read it, but I was assured it would be back within two days.
