Charged $200 for a diagnostic test, when we went to pick up the car wouldnt start. They said the diagnostic test drained the battery. They said it was too much work to remove the battery during this test. The car needs a new radiator which they wanted to charge us $1800 for.
They ordered the wrong tie rod. They should have ordered the Japanese one. So instead they rethreaded the old one and put it back in. Labor for that $318 for labor. Somewhere they charged another $19. We will never recommend or return. I even called John and when explained everything over the phone he couldn’t account for all the labor. So he sent me the receipt. Which doesn’t break it down.
This mechanic shop is useless. I took my car there supposedly to have it fixed, but they ended up ruining it and refusing to take responsibility for the damage. I don't recommend them at all; they're terrible.
Wouldn't let them change the oil on a tonka truck. Had a 160.00 coolant bucket replaced. The quote came in at 960.00. I'm looking for a good shop to service my diesel at, this wasn't it From the time my truck was done until I got there to pick it up the bill went up over a 100.00. Got the truck home and found a 3 inch scratch in the gel coat on the top of my fender along with greasy paw prints from from the person working on my truck. They have no clue how to bleed a coolant system as it needed another half gallon of coolant... read more
