I am 61 years old and have had to euthanize numerous beloved pets in my lifetime from dogs to horses. And never in my lifetime. Have I ever been told that I wasn't allowed to stay with my baby until they took their final breath until I took my 19-year-old Chihuahua into Northside Animal hospital on a Saturday morning.
