I had a breast biopsy on Monday. I wasn’t looking forward to it, but the care I received at Northside Alpharetta Breast care center made the experience so much easier. Laurie was my nurse who stayed with me, carried on fun conversation and made me forget what was going on medically. She is in the right profession as she was caring and kind through every step, and gave me expectations ahead of time and helpful hints to make healing a breeze. This place is pathetic and it is surprising that a renowned medical facility such as Northside tolerates the inept team to operate here. Twice I have made mammogram appointment here for 2026. First appointment, I show up and the imaging machine is broken. Had to reschedule. Front desk desk hands me a card- call them to make an appointment. Finally the tech came out and she quickly rescheduled me without further inconvenience. Very inefficient process for check in. Arrive 30 mins early to sit for 45 mins to get checked in when you’ve already done pre-registration and pre-paid for service. No respect for your time.
The staff is nice and professional however, they run extremely slow and behind schedule. I had to wait for 90 mins until they called me back (on top of arriving 30 mins early).
There was a long wait.
