Final Edit: Well, they finally came and installed my door, three months later. It's a nice door. Solid. High quality. Worth $1500? I doubt it. It doesn't open all the way. Not to 90 degrees from the doorframe anyway. It opens to about 60 degrees or so, and even then it's super stiff. If I ever need to move a big box in, I'm in trouble. Plus it doesn't close all the way. I have to pull it the last inch to latch it. The installer tried to blame my door frame. Maybe he's right. I don't know. We had 4 windows installed in our house and are quite happy with the results and for the most part the experience. Rodney was excellent! Friendly, knowledgeable and professional throughout the entire process. I specially liked how prompt he was to respond either via text or phone call to any and all questions we had. Edit 2: "Okay. Your door is in. We will give you a call this afternoon to book the installation." "For sure? Because that's what they said two weeks ago." "Yes. For sure." They did not call.
