Beware this place puts on a very good front. Kitchen is a MESS. Run by high school kids with no respect or manners for others with more kitchen experience than them. They are very greedy with food & make fun of residents who make simple requests or want more to eat or just want to chat because they are lonely elderly people. They lie to these residents about simple things like items in stock while residents are paying $12k+ a month to be treated that way by these kids. I have the pleasure of supporting this community and am always impressed with the warm and friendly atmosphere that is offered to our residents and team members. The team members clearly care about the residents they serve and create a welcoming family environment. Northpointe Woods is a great place to live and work!
In February I returned to Battle Creek from Bradenton,Florida. I had a horrific experience with the moving company from Miami and the Management and Maintenance staff here at NorthPoint stepped in and handled the situation providing minimal stress for me. The Maintenance team is excellent and very protective of the residents. I like it here,however, I have two suggestions; 1. Some of us find it difficult to get on and off of the dining room chairs in the Dining Room. I would like to have hand rails/grab bars installed along ... read more
The new Memory Care rooms at Northpointe Woods are a wonderful addition to the community. The staff are excited to welcome new residents to experience all that Northpointe Woods has to offer.
