When I arrived I got right in the see the Dr. Received help that helped me to feel better.
I was charged a $350 ER copay when it should have been a $35 walk-in clinic for a flu/RSV/Covid swab when sick. We've been going here 12 years and this is a new problem to us. We will not be back. Their billing dept said it's because there are ER doctors staffing it, but that is sneaky because IT IS NOT AN ER and I was not utilizing ER-level services. Do they even have the necessary equipment and ancillary services on site to qualify as an ER?
Unfortunately this is an ER. This is not urgent care. DO NOT GO HERE unless it is an emergency. They will charge you ER rates and you will suffer. Don't be like me, be wiser with this information and go anywhere else for urgent care. On a side note, is this ER even capable of trauma care like a true ER? Or is this place just scummy with billing practices?
