I’ve been a patient at Northline Women’s Health for a few years, but unfortunately, my experience has gone from disappointing to completely unacceptable. After having three appointments canceled because Dr. Kurth had to leave to deliver babies, I waited six weeks for another appointment—only to be turned away when I arrived just one minute past their stated grace period. As someone who works in healthcare, I understand that unforeseen circumstances arise—especially in women’s health—and that providers sometimes need to leave unexpectedly to tend to emergencies. I always try to be patient and respectful of that. However, my experience with Northline Women’s Health has shown a repeated lack of consideration and consistency, not just as a patient, but as someone who values how care should be delivered. I was in the emergency room and found out I had a medical concern. The hospital was going to transfer me to another hospital to get an MRI. They tried to reach out to my OBGYN Andary. He was on vacation but he still got ahold of them and had his fill in speak to the Dr at the hospital. She told them to not transfer me and to get an appointment with them first thing next week. Not a fan. Don’t recommend any momma’s to be to come here. Dr Nagarah was lovely for the first few visits before making me feel like I was an idiot when I’d ask questions. All of the ultrasound techs I have seen, along with the girls at the Maternal Fetal Medicine in Wyandotte, were flat out RUDE. Girls won’t even crack a smile at you, how are you an ultrasound tech seeing babies all day & miserable with your life? Makes no sense to me, don’t waste your time unless you’re prepared to walk out of the office pissed off.
