After 2 years I'm finally willing to try therapy again and realized I never made a review of this place. North Light's practices are why I have avoided even attempting to go back to therapy since January 2023. I ended up missing two appointments. I will admit they didn't make it into my calendar but you would think after the first one someone would have contacted me for the no show payment. My review mysteriously disappeared so I’ll post again! I am being billed $100 for a missed appointment that I canceled well before the appointment per their cancellation policy! My emails to the provider, Janet Davidson, have gone unanswered and according to their out of state billing company, she is the only one who can remove the charge. I was also told they bill for over 300 offices and are busy so I shouldn’t keep calling back for a status! Not happening! I was referred here by Mind 24/7. Yes, I was in crisis. I was referred here because they take my quite unique insurance and they had couples' and individual counseling. I thought this was great because it was close to my house, it had what I was looking for, and it was affordable for my partner and I. I unfortunately couldn't make the two initial appointments due to life circumstances and a bit of a misunderstanding with my partner; since he is still skeptical about doing mental health counseling. I am a patient of Nellie Samuel at Northlight Counseling and after having an appointment with her, she was supposed to call my two prescriptions into my pharmacy. She forgot. Then I called the office to let them know and she only called in one of the two prescriptions. I had to call the office twice AFTER already having an appointment which should have taken care of my issue without having to call the office twice in order to have my prescriptions filled.
