A well-known and respected member of the philatelic community. Although they market themselves as specialists in Scandinavian stamps, they maintain an ever-evolving world-wide stock of material, including United States. Northland is also a strong buyer of scarce and rare stamps. I have only bought from them a few times, however I have known about them for decades. You can expect knowledge and professionalism in your dealings with them
Poor response time. When I finally received call back from Jerry, was told that my rare George Washington and Thomas Jefferson stamps are not of value. Went to another dealer and was offered over $2,000. This company has stamps on their website for apparently as low as $5.00 but was told by Jerry my stamps are worthless ironically turned out to be completely false information. Would not recommend even for an appraisal. They do not know stamps of high value.
The people there are really nice and seem to know their stuff! I dropped off a whole bunch of stamps for them to look at and get back to me with a price.
