My dog had a very unusual problem (Addison's disease)and the vet diagnosed and treated her. She was up front about the cost and expained the stituation so I understood her complex disease. My dog is great and I thought the hospital staff was very professional and compassionate.

Couldn't have been a better experience......... staff was as pleasant and caring as can be; helpful and knowledgeable. The vet? She was the BEST; extremely straightforward, compassionate, caring. She laid out all my options -all the pros and cons of each. Then she --and her staff-- helped me to pick the best one. I didn't have a lot of $$.....but this hospital "worked with me" and helped me and my cat. Thanks to the vet, my cat's doing great! Worst Vet EVER – The Vet had the personality of my big toe, not one bit compassionate nor is she pro-active. Had the nerve to ask me in the wating room with people around if I wanted to put my dog down! This came after she sucked numerous amounts of money from me only to state she was at a "loss". I would never refer or go to this vet again. I found someone who is much more compassionate and caring.

Saved my dog – Northfield Animal Hospital took care of my golden retriever "Sammy" for her entire life. When Sammy needed to be put to sleep at 15 years of age their caring manner helped make the best of a bad situation Recently I was watching my sisters dog when I discovered he had ate rat poison. Nothing but nice! – I can only say positive things about Northfield Animal Hospital. I took my dog there for years and they were always so nice to her and took excellent care of her. Everyone loved her there and she loved all of them. I never had to fight to get her there...she actually looked forward to going to see everyone that worked there (and I took her every two weeks for her nails to be trimmed among other well visits or sick visits). absolutely horrible vet care – We went in to have my cat treated for a broken leg, like many people we were concerned about the cost and had Animal Alliance set up to help cover the costs. We were treated like third rate citizens by this third rate veterinarian, she could not care less about anything but being paid and told us we were pretty much S.O.L. Do not ever go there, I would rather drive hours for a mediocre vet than drive 5 minutes for a horrible one. Do your animal a favor and seek a good vet, not this dump.
