Not any places that treat goats and similar animals near me. 40 minute drive so not bad. They make house calls for a reasonable fee. They have been wonderful, professional and caring.
They'll tell you they'll call you back then they don't. If you aren't a person from big money and have giant, or a ton of livestock you're not top of the priority. I have a small homestead and I can usually do most of my vetting myself but now with these new laws they pulled all antibiotics from the shelves. These guys will also suggest that you try a different veterinary clinic when these guys and leading edge in Hayward are the only two that will see anything other than a cat or a dog. Update: I just want to continue to say how wonderful Northern Vet has been. All the staff are incredibly kind and patient-my senior sheep has needed a lot of care this year and I cannot say more about them. Dr. Megan especially has gone above and beyond to give me options for care when extensive care for a pet sheep is not common. Extremely happy with the care and service we received. The absolute best farm vets a farmer could ask for. Every veterinarian is so knowledgeable, and despite being so busy, they always take the time to explain procedures and processes to my kids (and me). When they leave, I know exactly what I need for optimal herd health. Thank you all!
Dr Jordie is wonderful - have used her many times - always knowledgeable - easy to talk with and work with. Tanya in the office is also great to work with also. Highly highly recommend the services here at the clinic.
